It is with a heavy heart that we must confirm that one of our most loveable characters to the game of indoor cricket, Darren Gow (Gooey) passed away last night.

Darren was a talented cricketer who commenced his indoor cricket journey playing at Lords Enfield and A Grade Superleague with the Windsor Guards back in the 1980’s before representing South Australia in Open Mens and then playing for 18 years in the Masters teams. Not only was Darren a great cricketer but he was an even better friend to many and always had a smile on his face. Darren will be sadly missed by the indoor cricket community.

Our deepest condolences go out to Darren’s family and friends in this extremely difficult time.

Vale Darren Gow
